How much does landscape lighting cost?+
Residential landscape lighting systems start at $1,500. The final price depends on three things: the size of your property, how many fixtures it needs, and how far wire has to run from the transformer. A front-yard design with a few uplights and path lights sits near the starting price, while a full-property system with trees, gardens, and a backyard patio costs more. That’s why we never quote from a template. Dave walks your property with you after dark, maps out every fixture, and gives you a fixture-by-fixture plan and price before any work starts. The consultation is free and there’s no obligation, so you know exactly what you’re getting before you commit.

How long has Awesome Outdoor Lighting been in business?+
Awesome Outdoor Lighting has 30+ years of experience designing and installing outdoor lighting. That experience shows up in the details a newer installer often learns the hard way: sizing wire so the last fixture on a run is as bright as the first, aiming lights so they glow instead of glare, and burying and sealing connections so they survive freeze-thaw winters. Owner Dave Dolak still designs every system himself, and his work has been recognized at Christmas Decor’s “The Magic of Christmas” industry awards.
Is LED landscape lighting energy efficient?+
Yes. We install 100% LED, low-voltage systems. LED fixtures use a fraction of the electricity of the halogen bulbs used in older landscape lighting, and they last many times longer, so you aren’t walking the yard replacing burnt-out bulbs every season. Low-voltage systems run through a transformer that steps your home’s power down to 12 volts, which is safer around kids, pets, and wet ground. Each system runs on a photocell or timer, so the lights come on at dusk and turn off when you choose, with no effort from you.
Do you also install holiday lighting?+
Yes, through our sister company, Awesome Christmas Lighting, which handles professional holiday lighting design, installation, and takedown. Your landscape lighting stays up and works year-round; holiday lighting is a separate seasonal service that goes up before the holidays and comes down after. The two work well together: landscape lighting keeps your home looking its best every night of the year, and holiday lighting adds seasonal sparkle on top.
